*This post is in partnership with SweetEscape & all of my opinions are honest & my own.
When the fiancé and I booked our trip to Cancun, Mexico at the end of 2018, I knew I wanted to have a photoshoot to savor the memories. I researched destination photographers and after seeing some vlogs on Youtube, I decided to book a photoshoot with SweetEscape!
Being engaged and all, I thought this was the perfect time & place to be photographed. After all, we live in Chicago so being near a beautiful beach is sort of rare. 😅
The process of booking was super easy & self-explanatory. I simply went to www.sweetescape.com (or they also have an app) and picked the destination where we wanted to have our photoshoot which in our case was Cancun. From there, you can pick your date, the duration of the shoot & time, and voila! The site connects you with a photographer in the area and you can communicate with him/her!
My photographer was Kristina, a destination photographer around the Riviera Maya area. She was able to give me suggestions on the best spots to take the photos & made our entire session feel so comfortable! She also picked us up from our hotel & dropped us off which we were super grateful for! Because she’s a local, Kristina also helped us plan our day trip to Tulum and told us the best way to get around. All in all, she was so helpful, amazing to work with, and I was obsessed with how our pictures turned out. 💕
Also, SweetEscape was kind enough to provide a discount code for all of you!
Code: YUNAH for a $50 discount + 30 extra photos!
After your session is done, the SweetEscape team will pick the best pictures for you & even edit them! Soon after, you’ll have your photos ready to share with the world. The whole team is very communicative and professional & I would definitely work with them again the next time we decide to travel somewhere!
If you’re not traveling but looking for a photographer in the city that you live in, I feel that SweetEscape can be an option for you as well!
