Portland, Oregon

Finally posting about that one time I went to Portland! Literally almost a year ago…oops.

We only got to spend 3 days because we had to catch a flight to Hawaii and was kind of sad b/c it rained 95% of the time.. ๐Ÿ˜“

Still, Portland was beautiful & there were literally endless things to eat..If you watch my vlog below, we’re eating 99.9% of the time..

I would definitely go back if I had the chance! Hopefully when it’s more sunny out! โ˜€

Pip’s Original Doughnuts & Chai
Portland has TONS of yummy doughnuts ๐Ÿฉ& I got to visit some of the most famous ones!
I love the vibes at Pip’s. The interior was so cozy, warm, and inviting. I don’t remember specifically which mini doughnuts we got but they were GOOOOOOD.

Blue Star Donuts

Another super famous doughnut chain in Portland. There are various locations but the one that we went to was so popular that they were all sold out….No worries though b/c the next day we went back & got to snag some! โœŒThey have really unique flavors that I have never seen before!

Teppanyaki Hut

Portland is FULL of food trucks. I’m pretty sad that we couldn’t try a bunch of them but the one we did try was this one! There were other food trucks around too so many many choices! We got ramen & sushirrito and our stomachs were very content.

Sip Juice Cart

Basically, an Instagrammer’s dream. Nothing more basic than paying for a healthy, overpriced juice and taking a picture in front of an aesthetic background. #noshame Hahaha okay, but the juice really was good & it was a really cute photo op place ๐Ÿ˜…

Life of Pie Pizza

Okay, HONESTLY one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had in our lives. SJ actually still raves about this pizza and says that it’s the most delicious pizza he’s ever had. We literally came here two days in a row although it was seriously raining cats and dogs one of the days. PLUS they have happy hour so their pizzas are super cheap!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Lan Su Chinese Gardenย

Wow, FINALLY a non-food place!! ๐Ÿ˜‚This garden is definitely worth a visit! Everything is so picturesque and peaceful. I bet it would be SO gorgeous in the fall!

Pistil’s Nursery

Basically, plant heaven. ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฑI was so into everything in this store, especially the wall plants. Interior goals.

Tea Bar NW

Hands down my favorite cafe that I visited here. Maybe ever. Their bubble tea were BOMB!! I have high standards for boba too…and Tea Bar exceeded them omg. Would go back literally for this. Also, I love their minimal interior. AESTHETIC GOALS. Wish there was something like this in Chicago!

Strategic placement of the straw….

Kainos Coffee

Another aesthetic coffee shop of my dreams. Seriously Portland, share some with Chicago. It needs to learn from you…

Poa Cafe

This cafe was super cute! It served all of your basic IG needs – avocado toast, coffee & a ton of pastries. They also had a super cute outdoor area in the back but it wasn’t open when we went – I think they open it in the summer.

Ace Hotel

A TON of people come here for pictures! Also, Powell’s Bookstore is nearby this place which is the largest independent bookstore in the world! We came to the hotel after visiting the bookstore and just relaxed here a bit. There also happened to be a really old, vintag-y photo booth so we took advantage of that ๐Ÿ™‚

Hope you guys enjoyed this post & hope you get to visit some of these places!
